The southernmost tip of Kelowna’s Lakeshore Road is known as the Golden Mile and it’s now for sale through Jane Hoffman Realty for $29.7 million.<\/p>\n

“Named for being the last mile of private land before Okanagan Mountain Provincial Park, its endless shoreline totals 1,800 feet that blends into 20 miles of wilderness park shoreline,” the listing reads.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year Lot 1 of 8888 Lakeshore Rd. was listed for sale by Jane Hoffman Realty for $21 million.<\/p>\n

At that time it was described as gated four-lot property consisting of 25 acres with 1,200 feet of lakeshore and two homes.<\/p>\n

The new listing is simply for 8888 Lakeshore Rd. and describes it as 72 acres with 1,800 feet of waterfront with four primary residences, two accessory homes, three docks, garages, horses, pools, gyms, sports courts and offices.<\/p>\n

“There is arguably no significant comparable to Golden Mile as the finest setting in the Okanagan for a large family compound or corporate retreat,” the listing says. “Exceptional privacy: gated, end of road, all borders are park or lake, and no waterfront trails in either direction.”<\/p>\n

It's three kilometres south of the City of Kelowna boundary.<\/p>\n

One house is perched over a waterfall and the property features sandy beaches on the Horse Creek delta.<\/p>\n

That’s the wine growing sub-region south of Oliver.<\/a><\/p>\n
