Emergency crews are on scene this afternoon at a house fire in Kamloops.<\/p>\n

Police officers, ambulance personnel and firefighters are on scene at a fire on Desmond Street.<\/p>\n

Firefighters are currently inside the building and smoke was seen coming out of the windows, Oct. 23, just before 3 p.m.<\/p>\n

Kamloops Fire Rescue platoon captain Jim Gorman said the fire has been knocked down and no one was injured. Burned sections can be seen at the back of the home.<\/p>\n

The fire started at 2:26 p.m. and three people were inside the house at the time it began.<\/p>\n

The cause is under investigation.<\/p>\n
