His son survived, and Cornelius felt inspired to create a network of advocacy and support for other Baltimore families impacted by violence.Seeing the need for public health services for families impacted by violence, he built FSN’s programs to offer therapy and group counseling, emergency assistance, and death services to those in need. His community-based approach fostered a loving, tightly knit network of survivors that continues the work of healing and restoration.
