Free In-Person Mental Health First Aid Workshop (Friday & Saturday)
Do More Agriculture Foundation is hosting a free In-Person Mental Health First Aid Workshop. This Mental Health First Aid training is 2 days 6 hours each. Once completed the 2 day training, participants will be certified and will receive a certificate from the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
The MHFA Canada program aims to improve mental health literacy and provide the skills and knowledge to help people better manage potential or developing mental health problems in themselves, a family member, a friend or a colleague.
Mental Health First Aid BasicMHFA Basic is intended for adults interacting with adults (18 years and older). This 12-hour course focuses on the four (4) most common mental health disorders including substance related, mood related, anxiety and trauma related, and psychotic disorders. Participants who take this course are well prepared to interact confidently about mental health with their family, friends, communities, and workplaces.
