
Ontario man identified as victim of fatal Highway 3 crash near Princeton
A victim of a fatal Highway 3 crash that caused the road's closure for hours last week has been identified in an online fundraiser.
Rajanbir Singh Gill died following an accident on Highway 3 near Princeton, Nov. 26.
"He was the only son of his parents who came to Canada in 2018 December and was on work permit now. He was living with his younger cousin brother in Brampton, (Ontario)," his brother-in-law Sukhjinder Singh wrote in a post to the online fundraiser.

Gill died of his injuries while in the Princeton General Hospital. He was only 22, Singh wrote.
"Please donate as much as you can to help his parents to say goodbye to their beloved son for the last time," he wrote.
The the online fundraiser can be found here. Since it started yesterday, Nov. 28, it has raised more than $26,000 out of its $30,000 goal.
B.C. RCMP did not immediately respond to a request of comment.
