The usually staid and proper Simon Cowell from America's Got Talent became very emotional as he reached for the coveted golden buzzer to send Nightbirde through to the live shows.

The singer is fighting cancer and her original song "It's Okay" earned the golden buzzer and a standing ovation this week on the reality TV show.
