NORTH BAY — Parker Vaughan scored his second goal of the night in overtime and the North Bay Battalion edged the Peterborough Petes 5-4 in Ontario Hockey League play on Thursday.
Ihnat Pazii, Kent Greer and Bronson Ride also found the back of the net for the Battalion (7-5-0).
The Petes (5-6-1) got goals from Brody Partridge, Adam Levac, Matthew Soto and Brennan Faulkner.
Mike McIvor made 12 saves for North Bay before he was replaced by Jack Lisson to start the third period. Lisson stopped 27 of the 28 shots he faced.

WINDSOR, ONT. — Michael Newlove turned away all 18 shots he faced as Windsor shut out Ottawa 2-0. Carson Woodall had both goals for the Spitfires (11-2-1). The 67’s (7-4-0) have lost three straight.
