iN VIDEO: Okanagan gets some fame in updated Disney attraction
The Okanagan valley is getting some international exposure at the Canada pavilion at Walt Disney World’s Epcot World Showcase.
The new film attraction, “Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360,” an update of the previous “O Canada “ film, opened on Jan. 17 and is billed as a "breathtaking look at the Great White North in a 360 degree viewing format," and a "region by region look at our neighbour to the north."
The film is also providing the Okanagan Valley with 15 seconds of fame, beginning at roughly the 6:25 mark of the video, before moving on to Whistler.
Guests to the pavilion can watch the beauty of Canada in a 360 degree viewing, making it feel as though one is in the middle of the action.
The show was last updated in 2007, and closed last August for the latest update.
According to ziggyknowsdisney.com, the latest update “shows a variety of natural beauty in Canada but also its cities and people.”
