The Kamloops Symphony is shining a light on the sometimes-forgotten member of the string section: the viola. Sought-after Canadian soloist, Marina Thibeault plays the ethereal and folkloric Viola Concerto by Latvian composer Peteris Vasks. Grieg’s Holberg Suite, and the Concerto for Strings by Nino Rota, best known for his soundtrack to The Godfather, round out this adventurous concert experience.This performance will be available to view online from Friday, April 23 to Saturday, May 22. Tickets are $15 for an Individual Pass, and $25 for a Household Pass.Ticket holders will be sent a link to view the performance. All ticket holders will have until May 22, 2021 to watch (and re-watch) the performance.
