Spartan Energy Corp. (TSX:SPE). Oil and gas. Up 11 cents, or 4.03 per cent, to $2.84 on 10.2 million shares.
Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Up five cents, or 1.70 per cent, to $2.99 on 10 million shares.
Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp. (TSX:PRE). Oil and gas. Up $1.01, or 28.61 per cent, to $4.54 on 9.3 million shares.
Legacy Oil + Gas Inc. (TSX:LEG). Oil and gas. Up 34 cents, or 19.43 per cent, to $2.09 on 7.6 million shares.
Athabasca Oil Corp. (TSX:ATH). Oil and gas. Up 35 cents, or 17.95 per cent, to $2.30 on 7.3 million shares.
Magna international Inc. (TSX:MG). Auto parts. Up $1.57, or 1.28 per cent, to $124.43 on 579,321 shares. The Canadian manufacturer is moving to strengthen its electronics engineering capabilities through the acquisition of some of the business units of Philips & Lite-On Digital Solutions for an undisclosed price. The deal includes the head-up display and electronic components business unit in Wetzlar, Germany, and an ultrasonic sensor business in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
