Reinhart with two goals and an assist as the Ice down the Pats 4-1

CRANBROOK, B.C. – Sam Reinhart scored two goals and assisted on one more as the Kootenay Ice defeated the visiting Regina Pats 4-1 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.

Erik Benoit and Brock Montgomery also scored for the Ice (1-2-0), who earned their 600th regular-season win in Franchise history.

Trent Ouellette scored the lone goal for the Pats (1-3-0), who were without Head Coach Pat Conacher due to personal reasons.

Mackenzie Skapski stopped 19 shots for the victory, and the game’s first star, as Teagan Sacher made 18 saves in a losing effort.

Kootenay went 2 for 7 on the power play while Regina failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.
