SAGAPONACK, N.Y. – Billy Joel has sold his beachfront mansion on Long Island.

Newsday (http://nwsdy.li/1seRzif ) reports that the sale was confirmed by the listing agent, Nancy Mizrahi of Saunders & Associates.

She said the deal on the 5,500-square-foot Sagaponack (sag-uh-PAHN’-ihk) home was closed late last week.
