First Quantum second-quarter earnings fall to $142 million but revenues rise

VANCOUVER – First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM), which reports in U.S. dollars, says its second-quarter net earnings attributable to shareholders fell to $142 million, or 30 cents per diluted share, from $155.3 million, or 33 cents per diluted share, during the quarter a year ago. Revenues rose to $722.3 million from $660 million.
