Coroners service identifies man after body recovered from Fraser River

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. – A man whose body was pulled from the Fraser River in Prince George has been identified.

The BC Coroners Service says he is 65-year-old Colin Oliver Wesley.

RCMP retrieved his body after someone reported seeing it floating down the river near Fort George Park in the downtown area of Prince George on Saturday.

It was recovered four kilometres further downstream.

The coroners service says police have ruled out foul play.
