UPDATE: Elderly Kelowna woman found

KELOWNA – An elderly woman from Kelowna missing since Monday has been found.

Valerie Hunter was last seen leaving her home on the 200 block of McCurdy Rd. shortly after 5 p.m. on Nov. 11 and was reported missing when she did not show up at her destination.

She suffers from a medical condition that could cause her to become disoriented and confused if left untreated.

Hunter is described as 5’6” with a thin build, shoulder-length grey hair usually worn in a bun and was last seen wearing grey pants and a green jacket.

Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Hunter is asked to call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
