Looking for a forever home; Kamloops SPCA pet of the week

KAMLOOPS – Misty is a quiet, shy dog looking for an owner to help build up her confidence.

Misty came from a very rural area outside of Kamloops, so things like walking on leash and car rides are new to her. Misty would benefit from having a guardian that has experience working with fearful or shy dogs. Misty appears to be house trained.

She needs to be introduced to people and new situations slowly. A quiet environment and gentle handling is a must for her. She's never been around children before and SPCA staff does not recommend a home with any young kids due to her fearfulness. They don't know how she would do around other types of animals, but with slow and proper introductions she would probably be fine.

Misty's Animal ID is 427149.

Visit the Kamloops Branch webpage for more information such as location, adoption fees, and hours of operation.
