Snowblower stolen in Vernon smash and grab

VERNON – Police are looking for the person who broke into a local business over the weekend and made off with a snowblower.

Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy says in a release the suspect smashed a window and door to get into the business. 

At 3:17 a.m. on Jan. 21 police responded to an alarm at Timberstar Tractor at 7861 on Highway 97 in Vernon.

Noseworthy says a 2×24 Quiet Snowblower was taken.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call the Vernon/North Okanagan RCMP at 250-545-7171 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
