The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Victoria Royals 6-4 on Wednesday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna, winning their fourth straight game.
Victoria scored three minutes into the game on the powerplay, but the Rockets responded 30 seconds later to even the score and the rest of the game was all Rockets.
Rodney Southam and Calvin Thurkauf each scored twice while Kole Lind had a goal and three helpers to lead the Rockets offense. Tomas Soustal also had a goal and an assist.
Michael Herringer collected his seventh win on the season stopping 25 of 29 shots he faced.
Kelowna went 3-for-8 on the power play while Victoria was 2-for-7 on the power play.
The Rockets have now won their fourth in a row to even their record at 7-7-0-0.
The Rockets are back in action this weekend when they travel to Portland to play a double-header against the Winterhawks on Saturday and Sunday night.
Kelowna returns to Prospera Place next Tuesday when they host another divisional rival, the Kamloops Blazers.
