RCMP looking for help to find Prince George man last seen in Logan Lake

RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find a 67-year-old Prince George man who was last seen in Logan Lake.

John David Young was driving alone from his Prince George home to Duncan on Vancouver Island, according to an RCMP media release issued today, Sept. 26.

He was last seen in Logan Lake where he visited a friend and left driving on Highway 97D towards Ashcroft or Merritt.

RCMP do not say when the visit took place.

Young’s family is concerned for his well being and say it is out of character from him to stay out of contact.

RCMP describe Young as a 67-year-old Caucasian male, 6’ tall, 190 lb. with blue eyes and grey, balding hair.

He may be driving a two-tone green 1994 Ford F-250 pickup truck with BC licence plate VJ8 406.

Anyone who may have seen the missing man, or his truck, or has any other information is asked to contact the Logan Lake RCMP at 250-523-6222, or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
