Clearwater man pleads guilty to second degree murder of common-law wife
VANCOUVER – A man from Clearwater will be given a life sentence after pleading guilty in Vancouver Supreme Court yesterday, June 24, to second-degree murder of his former common-law wife.
Crown prosecutor Adrienne Murphy says sentencing and submissions are expected to take place in September.

Scott then held his three children hostage in a police standoff. He was denied bail last February.
