UXBRIDGE, Ont. – Police say a 27-year-old man is in hospital with serious injuries after a car crash in Uxbridge, Ont.
Durham Regional Police say a van collided with a small car that was travelling in the opposite direction at about 9:30 p.m. on Monday.
They say the man driving the car was treated at the scene and taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
Police say the man was then taken to a Toronto-area hospital for further treatment.
They say the 50-year-old man driving the van was uninjured.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash and are asking anyone who may have witnessed it to come forward.
