Trudeau treats children at Ottawa hospital to advance Star Wars screening

OTTAWA – Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invited patients from the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario to join him for an advance private screening in Ottawa of the new “Star Wars” film, “Rogue One.”

In a tweet Tuesday night, Trudeau wrote the much-anticipated film was “the best of the Star Wars prequels.”

Trudeau is known to be a big fan of the movie franchise.

He was photographed with his family on Halloween in 2015 dressed up as Han Solo while his wife, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, was Princess Leia.

Walt Disney Studios Canada also tweeted photos of the prime minister at the screening, including one with the film’s new robot character K-2SO.

Trudeau treated children from the hospital to an advance screening last year for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
