Spartan Energy Corp. (TSX:SPE). Oil and gas. Up 38 cents, or 13.10 per cent, to $3.28 on 10.1 million shares.
Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Oil and gas. Up $1.66, or 10.91 per cent, to $16.87 on 9.7 million shares.
Trevali Mining Corp. (TSX:TV). Miner. Up five cents, or 3.82 per cent, to $1.36 on 9.1 million shares.

Royal Bank of Canada (TSX:RY). Bank. Down $3.04, or 3.37 per cent, to $87.08 on 6.2 million shares. Royal Bank saw its fourth-quarter net income dip two per cent to $2.54 billion, missing analyst expectations even as it raked in a record-high profit for the full fiscal year. The bank’s quarterly profit, which amounted to $1.65 per diluted share, was down from $2.59 billion or $1.74 per share a year ago when the bank benefited from a lower effective tax rate.
